Crooked Fir

Crafting an Authentic Experience for you in Bhutan

The Gift of a legend

Among the folks in the upper dales of Phobjikha Valley, a legend goes that there once stood on the crest of its Eastern Mountains a giant East Himalayan Fir that was uniquely tall and remarkably bent. It was an imposing image for the place – a natural landmark standing significant in the vastness of the vale. Even today, one is pleasantly, laughably surprised to hear locals blurt out, “Wongseychogta” when asked where they are from!

In Crooked Fir Travels, the legend of the Crooked Fir ensures! We are a premier valley-based tours and travels startup offering tailor-made tours Bhutan, and further inland into the beautiful valley of Phobjikha and beyond.
